Group Acupressure Sessions
Expert bodywork therapy at an affordable price
To bring the benefits of Asian Bodywork Therapy to the most people, we now offer group acupressure sessions. A group session lasts approximately an hour, has three to five attendees, and includes:
- Placement of acupressure pellets on ear and body points as appropriate for each individual. These pellets, made of stainless steel or from the seeds of the vaccaria flower, do not puncture the skin; they are held to it with adhesive tape and can be left in place for several days to gently stimulate acu-points.
- Seated shiatsu and acupressure treatment. This will usually address the neck and shoulder areas for relief of stress and tension, as well as any problem areas each client may be experiencing.
- Lifestyle and health habits consultation, including instructions for acupressure self-treatment.
Group sessions are held at my home office, and advance registration is required. I am running them as "pay what you can" events; the suggested payment is $25.
